This HM7 AQUAPOD TI BLUE is a highly innovative and visually striking luxury timepiece created by the Swiss watchmaking brand MB&F. It is part of MB&F’s Horological Machine series, known for pushing the boundaries of traditional watch design and engineering. The HM7 Aquapod stands out with its futuristic and organic aesthetic, inspired by the shape and movements of a jellyfish.

Crafted in titanium, the HM7 Aquapod features a bold and asymmetric round case, measuring 53.8mm in diameter. Resembling a jellyfish bell, it has a prominent central dome housing the movement. The case is equipped with two large crowns positioned at 2 o’clock and 10 o’clock for easy time setting and winding. The sloping lugs ensure a comfortable and well-fitting wear.

One of the most captivating elements of the Aquapod is its floating movement. The hour and minute display, located on the central domed dial, appears to be suspended in the middle of the case. This illusion is achieved by using a vertically positioned rotating disc that displays the time through a fixed hand pointing towards the hour and minute markers.

The HM7 Aquapod is a diver’s watch with a water resistance of 50 meters. It features a unidirectional rotating bezel with numerals for timing underwater dives.

Powering the HM7 Aquapod is a unique mechanical movement developed in collaboration with renowned watchmaker Stephen McDonnell. The movement boasts a complex architecture with 303 components and offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. It is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, featuring exquisite finishing and hand-decorated elements visible through the sapphire crystal case back. For example the winding rotor’s tentacles are machined from a solid block of titanium with a platinum sector underneath. 

This titanium HM7 AQUAPOD TI BLUE is limited to 33 examples.
